CRYSTAL HOFFMAN

Crystal is a first-generation pilot, who grew up in San Diego, CA. Her flying career began in 2020, following an Open House event at the Ramona Airport.  

After earning her private pilot certificate in 2021, Crystal became a fundamental part of the Ramona Flight Training Center by engaging the aviation community with events such as fly-ins, BBQs, hangar movie nights, and education seminars.  

Driven by her passion for flying, she earned her instrument rating in 2021, commercial and multi-engine in 2022, and her CFI and CFII certifications in 2023. 

Outside of aviation, Crystal enjoys spending quality time with her family of seven. 

Crystal currently serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Chapter of the

Ninety-Nines and Women in Aviation, Inc.
